Ryan, Gene and Heather enjoying a spot of tea at Holkham Hall. But their visit wasn't all tea and crumpets! It included a challenging game of Jenga, late evenings playing Apples to Apples, Ryan's first driving lesson, feeding donkey's and sneaking up on geese at night and even going on a Geocaching Tour of Brandon. Oh yeah, we also visited Stonehenge, Castle Rising, Holkham Hall, and the Hunstanton Cliffs. We had two days to catch some highlights of London. This included the Tower of London and the State Rooms in Buckingham Palace. In honor of the Queen’s ‘Diamond Jubilee’ this included a spectacular exhibit of royal diamond jewelry. The "Big Bus" tour provided us a quick overview of the city. We also rode the London Eye, toured Westminster Abbey and St Paul's, people watched in Covent Garden and even took in a Broadway show (“Wicked”). Next, we headed off to four days in Ireland. Main attractions in Ireland included the ruins of the Royal Abbey at Cong, Kylemore Abbey, the Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry, Blarney Castle, Rock of Cashel, Cobh, and the Midleton Distillery. Ryan especially enjoyed climbing around several old castles along our route as well as jumping on peat bogs.
